Bewildering Boar: The History of Overabundance in the Anthropocene

On August 23, 2024, Marianna Szczygielska presented a research paper titled “Bewildering Boar: The History of Overabundance in the Anthropocene” at the 4th World Congress of Environmental History at Oulu University in Finland. The presentation was part of the panel “What ever happened to wildlife? Histories of human-animal transformations in the Anthropocene.” Marianna also co-organized and convened a panel titled “Moving animals, developing expertise.”
